SARS Requirements for 2011 IRP5 Certificates
We remind you of the information that has to be added to your Payroll module during the course of this year, as per SARS requirements. The main new information items are:
- the residential address of the employee – 7 address fields (complex unit number, complex unit name, street number, street name, suburb, city, postal code)
- the bank account holder information – who is the holder of the account – i.e. employee’s name and surname if it is the employee’s own account, or else the name and surname/company name of the account holder
- the relationship of the account holder to the employee – i.e. “self” if it is the employee’s own account, or then a description of whose account it is – spouse, partner, sister, etc. The latest payroll version, namely 5.4, has been released with the new tax tables. If you have not yet been upgraded, please contact the SebataFMS Helpdesk for assistance on (053) 831 3515.
Section 71 Reporting
Sebata currently drives a complete ERP solution to our clients. One of these elements is the Section 71 and statutory reporting tool that simplifies the tedious reporting requirements in the municipal environment. This tool directly extracts financial data from your Ledger year file, compiling quarterly reports in the NT prescribed format. These reports can be sent directly to NT or extracted to Excel for presentation.
Implementation procedures:
- GRAP restructuring of current IMFO chart of accounts – this structure is implemented on FMS and not just on Excel and is aligned with your new budget.
- Linking of Sebata MIS reporting tool
