Sebata Corporate Social Investment

Sebata’s Corporate Social Investment programme is aimed at addressing clearly defined social issues related directly and indirectly to our clients, the municipalities of Southern Africa,  and the immediate communities in which our clients function.The thrust of our social investment activities lies at enhancing the social infrastructure of the community, while contributing to the upliftment of community through sports, education and technology.

At Sebata we recognise that many talented and astute young people seldom get the opportunity to further their education. It is with this in mind that we have developed a scholarship and learnership scheme that focuses on tertiary education in the ICT and related sector. Our scheme is unique in that it encompasses basic career guidance, setting career development goals, setting a personal development plan, to the eventual placement of each of our bursars within Sebata or any of its sister companies for a brighter future.

Sebata recognises that sport brings together people and communities of differing backgrounds. Sport plays a vital role in inspiring the youth to aspire to greatness. Our approach is to partner up and work with municipalities to ensure that each sporting event that Sebata is involved with becomes a success.
